“Worta career the flaming lips have had…” sez clay. Alert- me and pals saw them at maxwel’s and they so loud and shiny that a fuse blew. We waited some for power to come bk (“I need more power, Scottie”). Next night (or 2,3 later) we saw them at Rutgers. Before the show I did a long (dumb) interview w Wayne and some years back, my friend gave me a YouTube link to it! It remains long (& dumb). I hear the kings theater show was super. More power to them. they’re like YLT, heroes in their hometown of Norman (?), Oklahoma.
