Went to the Grand Ole Opry on Friday. Didn’t know who would be appearing but we got a cool lineup. We saw Bobby Osborne and the Rocky Top Express (Bobby is in his 90s, his son sang “Rocky Top”), Don Schlitz (writer of “The Gambler” and other country hits) and The Riders in The Sky (the group who sings “Woody’s Roundup” from Toy Story 2). A few other Country Music artists as well. Later that night we went to Music Valley Drive and saw some more bands. We packed a lot in

Having beer alone right now. That's the kind of day I am having. Life's been tough and I lost many friends to depression. Now that I am pulling myself together I have massive mood swings. Slowly improving but never enough. Certainly feel guilty about wasting life. I'mtrying to take the positives tho. I guess that counts as progress.

Andrea, do I ever understand you!! From what little I know about you, you are artistic and probably live “away” from the standards. The standards can be oppressive. You might want to view yourself differently, as someone who is different, who sees things that others can’t. You are not alone in this talent; it’s just very difficult to feel connected when you are so far outside the standard. We appreciate you here, Andrea. We are all here because we are different, and we are looking for connection in this cold world. You are connected to us. Put the razors away and keep coming back.
