Re DUB : yes, & thanks. Blum-in-Love Introduced me to some Dubby excellence. Much Appreciated. Growing my ears throughout the late 70s-80s era had me entranced with all things Dub. I feel like I’m hearing a lot more Now, than recent decades. (?!)

wasn't ignoring you ... just had to wrap up the painting. My introduction to and love of Dub came not that long ago. So maybe I am part of the resurgence you've noticed, but for me it was just a 'surgence. I dated a brilliant woman who was crazy about the Clash and happened to have had a friendship with Strummer. She taught me to love Sandinista, which I then I listened to almost exclusively, that and the Slits -- thats how I was introduced to the sound and then on a trip to Brixton I picked up a bunch of Dub records ...
Im not a good judge of music trends ... other than the ones happening on this fine station.
Erik/VermonT:
Cool reminiscence related … 🙏.
I was lucky enough to have seen The Clash at 16 years at the infamously oversold Bonds Casino shows NYC (Sandinista! Tour). So even though it was different eras - similar experience. Ahaahaha
Ps the Slits opened for the clash on the show we saw.
They were great but deafeningly caterwauling like caraaazzeee !
