Like they get played on normal radio here, they play our footy grand finals - kinda like you NFL halftime shows. Televised nationally etc. They are pretty much just part of the culture here!

I'm "writing from the future," so I don't know if anyone will see this, but yeah, as I understand it, when the amount of water entering the NYC sewer system exceeds what it has capacity for (which happens more and more now), the excess just flows out (per the system's 19th Century design) into the waterways--AFTER mixing with whatever's in the sewer system... Depressing, I know, but Suzy's tip (use less water when it's raining) was on point.

Like they get played on normal radio here, they play our footy grand finals - kinda like you NFL halftime shows. Televised nationally etc. They are pretty much just part of the culture here!

I'm "writing from the future," so I don't know if anyone will see this, but yeah, as I understand it, when the amount of water entering the NYC sewer system exceeds what it has capacity for (which happens more and more now), the excess just flows out (per the system's 19th Century design) into the waterways--AFTER mixing with whatever's in the sewer system... Depressing, I know, but Suzy's tip (use less water when it's raining) was on point.
