@RRNov63: I gather "postfictional" is very different from "postmodern" (in its various architectural and literary/cultural critiical/philosophical guises) and certainly from deconstruction. I could go on about the evolution of the reception of the latter, but I won't. Certainly, though, I've also been bugged by the notion of postmodern anything. Again, it defines intellectual relationships with the world according to some abandoned paradigm or dispensation.
