However, I had started with copious snoting and then chest coughing, which by midweek had turned into verifiable mental fog starting around noon.
I am a high school, English teacher, and I would write some thing in a plan, and then I have no idea if what I had written made sense. Fortunately, I often dictate to my computer and then have the computer. Read it back to me, so I was using that as my crutch, and not really thinking about it.
Once I finished my classes yesterday, I was so drained. I wanted to leave early because I have the last block off. When I described all this to the nurse she’s the one that asked:
Have you taken a Covid test? (I hadn’t. It was a cold, right?) You should definitely take one, and then follow up with the PCR.
So that’s what I’m doing this morning around 915.

My kids HATE iReady!
I
HATE
IT
TOO!
It IS TOO easy and too repetitive!
The discouragement then causes the kids to do badly so then they have to do it again and again.
Here’s the kicker.
Any teachers that are parents also hate it!

The trick for me (if you wish to call it that) is that I understand that I can only control certain things, I can control in my own life & then extraneous problems can be reduced to chatter.
It's what I do. It's not that I don't care about things, it's just that if I can't really change them, then why would I put myself in a bad state over it.
Bad news leads many to some negatively obsessive behavior. Not good

I was on FB from 2009 to 2021. In the beginning it was fun.
I had a small batch of "friends" less that 300.
I actually had met, in person 180 of them.
When I decided to leave the platform ,I made sure to let them ALL know I was leaving & left them solid contact info to reach me as I said I'd miss them (most of them).
I have heard from exactly Two of them. Yes..Two in the years since.
This show is as social as I get online.
