The Firesign Theatre had a fringe-reglion–based Old West sketch featuring a bunch of drunken cowpokes singing 'Paramahansa Yoga-ananda, parlie-voo!'; Lenny Bruce mentioned him along with a bunch of other religious rleaders not to believe, along with the Pope and Billy Graham. (Astute of him: too many people rightly reject Western religion only to be absolute credulent suckers for some guy speaking with an accent and dressed unusually for these parts.)
