Dale, Re “GOOD Christian Singers,” my first response was to propose Sufjan Stevens, Jim James, and Iris Dement, but those are all stretching the definition of a GCS—so instead I will propose Jason Martin of Starflyer 59, a longstanding shoegaze band that released most of its work on Tooth & Nail, the biggest Christian alt/punk label in the 90s. Seriously good singer & songwriter who would be much better known if he had gone the secular route.
