With billows and blasts from choirs and orchesters
Buskers and talkers
Big bands and squawkers,
the Stork Club has retained its qualities of decaying elegance and dwindling significance since the late 1950s.

December 22, 2022: Subway Subbin' On A WInter's Day
The Continental Subway makes a local stop in Münster Germany - just a few hours away from Subway Central in Leipzig, and guest conductor Stork will take over for the day. Included is a birthday tribute to the late Joe Lee Wilson - jazz singer and scene-ster, he organized loft concerts for years at NYC's Ladies' Fort in NoHo.

I've never been to the Stork Club before now.
Son House to David Bowie, this is the normal scheme of things ?
coelacanth∅:
funny i was thinking during (i think it was) the Brian Harnetty song (with a female vocal and surface noise) how it reminded me of "group four" by massive attack.
then just now come back to the screen to see right before my first post a mention of "mezzanine" in another context.
(mezzanine being the album group 4 is on)
