But I do have problem with the "algorithmization of everything", I don't want my music suggestions to come from an algorithm, which is why I listen to WFMU. In more recent decades got more interested in demathematizing for the sake of seeing the phenomena more clearly. As far as I can see, the current mathematized cosmology is an empirically-based predictive modelling of the universe, crucially employing maths. It is empirically correct mythologiizing in maths. But what it's truth is, is another question. Cf. your lovely Goethe quote.

In more recent decades got more interested in demathematizing for the sake of seeing the phenomena more clearly. As far as I can see, the current mathematized cosmology is an empirically-based predictive modelling of the universe, crucially employing maths. It is empirically correct mythologiizing in maths. But what it's truth is, is another question. Cf. your lovely Goethe quote.
