in the sky.
This creates an ice crystal.
As the ice crystal falls to the ground,
water vapor freezes onto the primary crystal, building new crystals -

10 years ago
I was in a hospital bed
waiting.
I had a heart attack during the night
and was waiting for a surgeon.
I promised myself that
if I survive I would make this day
a celebration of life.
Every year since
on this day
I walk through Central Park in NYC
I go to an art museum or gallery
I have a bowl of ramen or a hotdog
and I’m grateful.

know that I think you are beautiful.
