Love listening to this again. Such great music. I know it took Nez a long time to come to terms with the fans love for the Monkees, but it seems he did finally 'get it' later in life. I was so glad I saw him and Micky on the final tour.

Erica, I actually wonder if the fame of the Monkees and the subsequent backlash actually hurt his career? Had he kept writing songs for others and then launching the first national band maybe he would have been taken more seriously? just thinking.
