	6:38am dday: Well..the furnace is temporarily fixed. Persistence!!!. Cost me a bit replacing a few $$ components, but I got it for now. I have my HVAC guy coming this week to discuss replacement, but for now we are safe & warm thanks to High Heat 550 Degree JB Weld (about $9.00). Never give up!!

	6:57am dday: @Butterman: I have done many, many things for work in my life. In H.S., I was trained to manage a large Sub Shop in Garfield,NJ at age 15. We moved & took over my great Aunts farm , so I became an assistant (to my Dad) farmer. When that fizzled out I worked as a dump truck driver & heavy equipment operator for Montague Twsp., NJ at 19. I went back to school for electronics & then worked for Exxon Corps/Vydec in NJ. they moved, I didn't. Wound up short order cooking at a lake lodge & hand building ship radios for the Israeli Navy. I had a music booking agency of my own, ran live sound gigs from HS through about 2000. Went back to school again & interned & then worked at Nevessa Production (Under owner/ engineer Chris Andersen who was Todd Rundgren's live sound guy for 11years in the 70's & 80's) Woodstock,NY. I also did service & repair for a vending company in the 80's until I got tired of moving heavy machines around . I applied to Simplex Time Recorder to do service for them. Wound up servicing Commercial Fire Systems for multiple companies from 1989 to 2014. That was my career before a serious spine injury finally sidelined me for good in 2015. Now retired. Whew.. So what was the question??? :)

	7:08am dday: @?: pretty much the same here. I left home at 19 after the farm fizzled out for my Dad. His comment was said to me many times over the years after I left home. He & Mom had 3 sons. All were out on their own after HS. No college. We've all done OK. Sadly we lost my older brother Dave to a car wreck at 39 so who knows what he'd be doing today. My younger brother was a heavy metal singer in the 80's (Tortured Dog), then worked in printing, then ran his own DJ / Karaoke business. The idea of grown adults living with their parents doesn't sit well with me. One to leave the nest to discover what kind of person one is.

Add in two marriages, two divorces, a very sick now deceased ex-wife (stay away from heroin kids, it wins in the end) and a hand in taking care of 5 step-kids :) Every experience good or bad taught me & shaped me into hopefully being a better human being. Still a work in progress though :)

And I'm ambivalent about college these days given the loan racket. HowEVER: In connection with our responsbility to prepare them to leave the nexs, I used to joke to my beautiful girls, even in high school, "I love you. Are you still here?" It was a joke. They knew it was a joke. There's not a day I don't wish I could take that back.

	6:38am dday: Well..the furnace is temporarily fixed. Persistence!!!. Cost me a bit replacing a few $$ components, but I got it for now. I have my HVAC guy coming this week to discuss replacement, but for now we are safe & warm thanks to High Heat 550 Degree JB Weld (about $9.00). Never give up!!

	6:57am dday: @Butterman: I have done many, many things for work in my life. In H.S., I was trained to manage a large Sub Shop in Garfield,NJ at age 15. We moved & took over my great Aunts farm , so I became an assistant (to my Dad) farmer. When that fizzled out I worked as a dump truck driver & heavy equipment operator for Montague Twsp., NJ at 19. I went back to school for electronics & then worked for Exxon Corps/Vydec in NJ. they moved, I didn't. Wound up short order cooking at a lake lodge & hand building ship radios for the Israeli Navy. I had a music booking agency of my own, ran live sound gigs from HS through about 2000. Went back to school again & interned & then worked at Nevessa Production (Under owner/ engineer Chris Andersen who was Todd Rundgren's live sound guy for 11years in the 70's & 80's) Woodstock,NY. I also did service & repair for a vending company in the 80's until I got tired of moving heavy machines around . I applied to Simplex Time Recorder to do service for them. Wound up servicing Commercial Fire Systems for multiple companies from 1989 to 2014. That was my career before a serious spine injury finally sidelined me for good in 2015. Now retired. Whew.. So what was the question??? :)

	7:08am dday: @?: pretty much the same here. I left home at 19 after the farm fizzled out for my Dad. His comment was said to me many times over the years after I left home. He & Mom had 3 sons. All were out on their own after HS. No college. We've all done OK. Sadly we lost my older brother Dave to a car wreck at 39 so who knows what he'd be doing today. My younger brother was a heavy metal singer in the 80's (Tortured Dog), then worked in printing, then ran his own DJ / Karaoke business. The idea of grown adults living with their parents doesn't sit well with me. One to leave the nest to discover what kind of person one is.

Add in two marriages, two divorces, a very sick now deceased ex-wife (stay away from heroin kids, it wins in the end) and a hand in taking care of 5 step-kids :) Every experience good or bad taught me & shaped me into hopefully being a better human being. Still a work in progress though :)

And I'm ambivalent about college these days given the loan racket. HowEVER: In connection with our responsbility to prepare them to leave the nexs, I used to joke to my beautiful girls, even in high school, "I love you. Are you still here?" It was a joke. They knew it was a joke. There's not a day I don't wish I could take that back.
