It is pretty dark out. Cold and wet too. My least favorite weather. Some subterranean tension should make it better.

WR! That's where I am at too, today.

Hi Ridgewoodnics!
Been using the "no-love-Drummer-Stream" time to catch up with albums in the "on deck" pile. Was playing ROVA Saxaphone Quartet's the Works (Volume 3), great CD (not new, but new to me).

Hi Gang! I was catsitting for a week or so, so i came up with some purring drone patches for him.

Hi Sem!

I’m pulling xmas decor out of storage shed in sunny Marfa and somehow this still works…

Hello all of you, djazz, Henry, dfox. Rova and cat drones, nice. And my sister raises Rodesian Ridgebacks so... we're on message.

Good live music week for me-got to John Zorn's New Masada Quartet Sunday night, The Webber/Morris Big Band last night, both fine shows!

Hello DW, Ruth, and Ridgewodians
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:19pm
Webhamster Henry:

@ruth the cat usually doesn't care about anything, but he didn't run away or particularly ignore it. The drone is basically a just chord, but built for beating instead of harmony. 1/1, 16385/16384, 16386/16384,... and pick a buzzy timbre.

Tilman Robinson played a harmonium he found in an old church in a small mining town on the west coast of Tasmania. The harmonium track was later re-amped into a disused copper mine. There's more, but...

Hey Foxy, see if you can relate to this: Yesterday my sister asked me what I intended to do with the rest of the turkey(I had already made soup, but still had a ton) "I suppose I could make a turkey pie" "Whaaaah! Do it and give some to us!" So that's what I did this morning. I called her to come over and get some about 45 minutes ago. "You're done!? But,but, but..." She doesn't do stuff early like I do.

Hi david w and Ridgewoodians. I made a whole lot of turkey stock, and probably could've made more. The pressure cooker is kind of fantastic if, like me, you've struggled not to boil and thereby cloud the broth.

Franco: I didn’t make turkey this yet but my mom came for a visit with all her turkey leftovers. We made a “turkey cobbler”…like a pot pie with biscuits on top. We call it Turkey Gobbler. I froze all the rest and carcass for turkey egg noodle soup later this week!
