This Negro Jazz Band of East Africa performed and recorded under a number of different names. The most prominent was Orchestre Nègro Succès.

I recently got from Presto a bunch of discs, including that box and another complete Sibelius with Berglund conducting Bournemouth. The latter includes older recordings that I've long enjoyed. For fun I played the Vanska 5th followed by the Berglund. My favorite may yet be Berglund, but the Vanska performance on SACD, which is a bit slower, was so much more revealing of the orchestral color. Loads of detail without the risk of shrillness that once came with digital.
