I mean, in some workplaces you actually get "strike days" to spend as you wish, while going on a real strike gets you fired, and probably beaten up by union goons. Not a good place. Teachers are safe, but not defended either

Some kids get long weekends, not bad for them but even liberal low-earning parents are known to send their kids to private school (not expensive) as “teacher disciple” (not my words) is better. Our government gave out PPE contracts to many people they knew who did not even produce PPE. Hundreds of millions. The excuse was that it was an emergency.
