That I remember. Pat Conte with Citizen Kafka. Speaking of remembering, don't I remember rubbing shoulders with you and Kafka at some of Steinski's salons back in the early '90s?

In the early '90s, Steinski used to host these wonderful music salons, gatherings of obsessed music heads, in his studio. That's where I first met the great Monica. Only a few years later, Monica and I were back-to-back on Fridays on WFMU.

My GIF doesn't really capture the magic of the scene. (GIFs are limited in size. The full clip is much longer.) In the full video, the second frog sits quietly watching the iPhone frog start to dance. Then the second frog starts to dance. Meanwhile, the third frog is sitting quietly watching the other two frogs. Once both the other frogs start to dance, then the third frog starts to dance. It's magical.
