I saw a group purporting to be the Stranglers at Asbury Park's Fast Lane about three decades ago, though I question their authenticity.
Hugh Cornwell has played Long Branch's Brighton Bar a few times though--one time with Clem Burke drumming and Deborah & Chris attending!

I saw Hugh do Rattus at the Funhouse in Seattle with a great band a little over 10 years ago. Never did get to see this great band, though.

Hi Harry, Mom Whig (btw, I was listening in on tonight's Whig Out! Excellent as always!), Woo, Hans, David, Motobro!

Somehow I knew this was in the mail. After all, it could only explain why you chose "Waltzinblack"as your show's theme. Coincidentally, I have their entire discography on mp3's. Now I have to get Hugh Cornwall's solo material. All I have for now as far as that goes is the score soundtrack to "When The Wind Blows".
