Native Americans: "Dude, the Sun is real"

Dan Bodah:

Hey Joe & Marie, good to hear from you. There must be more native metal to find. In fact lots more modern music I came across in putting the show together but not much with vocal techniques in it...

Perhaps this is not an inappropriate time to promote a native elder painter I met in South Dakota recently… his name is Thurman Horse, he’s got some really cool paintings, also been featured in some documentaries you can find on YouTube he has some interesting stuff to say… there are also a bunch of other artists on this site… they sell prints, the site says the artists get some royalties but it doesn’t say how much. In any case… some cool stuff on there… check it out. Thanks www.sevenfiresart.com/collections/thurmanhorse

Hey Wenzo, that sounds really cool. Tx! I went to the Native American Museum a couple of years ago and saw a show of contemporary Native American artists , thought there was a lot of great work, to me. I bet they are showing contemporary work on the regular... I must look into that

Whale vocals!!!!! @Webhamster Henry--@) Yeah, true dat--I don't think a lot of natives go there. I'm not sure how much they change up the perm. collection. I bet a lot of people just expect it to be stuffed stuff in glass cases.
