	3:34pm DJ GeorgyGirl: I live on the fifth floor of a ten storey block of flats and the rain and wind is currently battering the building. Plus REALLY loud thunder and lightning that looks like floodlights in the sky. Scary!!
	3:34pm WM: There is a story behind the poem. At some point Gascoyne had a breakdown and was staying at a sanatorium. One of the nurses thought it would be therapeutic to read poetry aloud to the patients. One day she read September Sun: 1947 without knowing who David Gascoyne was. He said "I wrote that poem." To which the nurse replied "of course you did, dear."

One of the nurses thought it would be therapeutic to read poetry aloud to the patients. One day she read September Sun: 1947 without knowing who David Gascoyne was. He said "I wrote that poem." To which the nurse replied "of course you did, dear."
