Every show starts with the ’70s! We’ll rediscover forgotten rockers, revisit unfairly maligned disco beats and replay power-pop favorites. Next: plenty of new releases, occasional live bands and more. Don’t let the nickname confuse you.

And, good afternoon!
This GFR reminds me of an online debate between Ira Robbins and can't recall who about GFR. Ira took the side against GFR.

I once had the "AutoAmerican" and "Eat To The Beat" albums on 8-Track. (Yes, they were still making them in the 80's, only, by that time, they were exclusively available through the record & tape clubs.)

about the LES scene.
Evan, please make a note about asking Clem if he's ever had the chance to meet Andy Warhol around the time Debbie was getting intimately close to him.
@JetBoy @1:37 - Don't sell yourself to a stereotype. All our lives are shaped by the experiences we've had in our formative years. Over the years, I've had the pleasure of working with almost every single format of physical media available, right up to MDs. (I still have an MD player in my room with loads of discs full of recorded material.) I consider myself a middle-tier multimedia consultant.

I almost tried to win the Damned tickets, but I actually feel like staying home tonight .
The Damned were excellent at the Stone Pony. People whined because No Captain!, but what's-his-name was a more-than-worthy fill-in, musically speaking. They sounded like The Damned.

My fave for quick-and-easy recording: Tascam DP008EX 8-track. Fits in a little camera bag.
6-track and 4-track versions also available. They fit in smaller bags.

Hoboken Jack:
I first started to see cassettes again at diy punk shows about 15 years ago and they've remained the small indie band's medium of choice (often with a download link) despite being THE WORST MEDIUM EVER. Anecdotally I feel like CDs are slowly replacing cassettes as the young bands' cheap physical product of choice....

Sorry, I’ve no idea what the song is. I’ve passed it on to a few friends to see if they know it. Hopefully I’ll be able to let you know either way soon.
If I had to hazard a guess I’d say they were from the South East as they have a Parrots/Piranhas sound"
