Familiar & forgotten gems from 50-plus years of music on the darker side, shoegaze, synthpop, goth, psychedelia, darkwave, with unapologetic detours into 70s pop. In a dark night of the soul, it's always 3 o'clock in the morning.

Sounded as you'd expect, after he'd got through that he went in to his latest stuff like this one.
Absolutely blasted the house down.
Like NIN but darker, a good surprise

But to my taste Curtis was the weak link of the band. I acquired all of their early stuff as it was released, but by the mid-'80s I'd unloaded it all, including the rare French single of "Dead Souls," which is perhaps my favorite song of their.. I now have a sampling of New Order, no Joy Division. No regrets.

...' a tremendous second hour with Joy Division’s 1978 Arrow Studios RCA Sessions '...
This is the album Joy Division did *before* their 'first album'
- because they had to change labels & it wasn't released :
www.kcrw.com...
- will be still too 'Punk' for many but that's kinda what I like about it.
Can't relate to Ian being the weak link - the Writing & Singing & Presence. Admire New Order for persisting as something different.
