@chris ... redwoods: Bear in mind that a criterion for office brewing equipment is relatively good speed and low fuss, so The Man has fewer perceived reasons to stare daggers at you and imply that you're Wasting Valuable Work Time. At home I stick with a Decent espresso machine (and Versalab grinder), but that's all too fiddly to fly in an office.

@Jason: well analyzed. My approach was to use my own coffeemaker which I kept on a very high shelf when I wasn't using it. Otherwise you spend all your time not-quite-successfully trying to decontaminate and un-ruin the machinery others have been abusing so you can try to use it!
