	9:10pm Listener Gregory: Poor Zorn got lambasted for this by a lot of mainstream jazz critics/fans. Maybe that’s just what he wanted?

	9:18pm Listener Gregory: Ha! Yes, but in 1984, the Monk fans and reviewers did not quite get his rendition using mostly duck calls and skronk guitar. That was the genius of Hal Wilner in choosing that group of artists.

	9:24pm doctorjazz: Got to see Glenn Branca way back in the day (around when this came out) at a little NY club called The Mudd Club. I don't think those overtones are captured the same way on record, so much was happening above what the musicians were playing, it was amazing!

	9:42pm Dean: By the way, a neighbor of mine across the street to whom I've sung the praises of my beloved Linn purchased a used Systemdek with a Linn Basik Plus tonearm. It seems to have issues, so I'm investigating, but I'm so pleased he has ventured into good sound.

The Technics app on my phone worked for a few days, then stopped, but between the buttons on the player and the remote (which was designed by a sadist), I'm able to access most functions. Still haven't figured out connecting an external hard drive. And it sounds very nice (but it's not my Linn...)

The Technics app on my phone worked for a few days, then stopped, but between the buttons on the player and the remote (which was designed by a sadist), I'm able to access most functions. Still haven't figured out connecting an external hard drive. And it sounds very nice (but it's not my Linn...)
