Favoriting Hinky Dinky Time with Uncle Michael: Playlist from August 12, 2022 Favoriting

Uncle Michael's avatar View Uncle Michael's profile Favoriting

Turning over the toy box and jamming together the gloriously mismatched musical Lincoln Logs, Legos and Tinker Toys from Tin Pan Alley pluggers, pickled egg tavern weepers, lockstep soul ensembles, skinny-tie power poppers, Eurotrash ravers, moontanned art school rockers, drunken soccer anthems and anything else that seems like a good idea at the time. There are no guilty pleasures.

Hey Asheville Jon, I’ll be in Asheville next week for business. Any recommendations for bars, concerts, restaurants? I lean towards punk rock stuff and hipster shit. Breweries and such. I’m gonna break off early on Wednesday and go to the Moog museum (is it worth it?). Prof.fuzz mentioned Fleetwood’s. Any help mucho apreciado.

-never been to Moog museum, but the building is cool. heard good things about it.
-Fleetwoods might be a good place to start. I'm sure someone there can lead you in the right direction. You might also just want to stroll down Haywood in West Asheville. Not sure what to say about breweries. There are too many here, and I don't really drink all that much.
