Familiar & forgotten gems from 50-plus years of music on the darker side, shoegaze, synthpop, goth, psychedelia, darkwave, with unapologetic detours into 70s pop. In a dark night of the soul, it's always 3 o'clock in the morning.

Julie, was just noticing that pre-10CC track you played on EB Sunday (Festival - Today). It got me curiously wondering if there might be any more pre-10CC material that has yet to emerge in some form of physical media.

Revolution Rabbit Nov63:
Many spellings from Old Germanic that haven't been pronounced that way in perhaps a millennium ? 'Thorough' ?? Sometimes no more than who had the first Printing Press sealed the deal forever more. Then also different Germanics met in the middle of Britain & said - ah hell, just add an 'S' for plurals & pep it simple... Then of corse the Norman Invasion added French like 'buffet' & more things than we think of... All of which helps put the lie to the 'This is Murika speak English' morons...

Rev Rab: Words for food in English tend to come from French while the animals are still from Germanic: cow vs. beef, chicken vs. poultry, etc. The Normans brought their cooks along.
Of course, they were just Vikings who spoke French anyway.

I was making another drink and caught Franco calling in on Bucci's show (well, David Cooper subbing in). The topic is "what household appliance would you be and why," and I missed his response, but I did hear him say that he can make balloon animals and will work kids' bday parties, and David said he was hired.
An all call-in show must be catnip for Franco!
