	7:24am Brainiac from Neuron 3: I crewed a Santana concert @ the Ford Amphitheater back in 2006. I was asked to be a cable pager for the pit cameraman during the show. The cameraman told me to follow him up on the stage for the first song as he took an audience shot, then we jumped back down into the pit. He told me to sit on the back of the barricade until the last song where we'll jump back up. I got to watch the show 10 feet in front of Carlos & Chester Thompson. Melted my face and I got paid. Good times. Samba Pa Ti was awesome!

	7:38am Squints: Innaresting, Renee. I'd been summoned for jury duty for yesterday but called the hot line Monday and they'd cancelled 'em all for Tuesday. I was empaneled about twenty years ago. Two days. It was an interesting exercise and it really is a fulfilling sort of duty. It helps if it's not a big days- or weeks-long case. If I was retired, well, can never have too many hobbies.... There was an item on the questionnaire that wasn't true twenty years ago but would probably get me struck from a lot of cases these days.

The impression is selection is for the one pending trial at hand. I’ve served a few times. I once served on a jury in Brooklyn for gang violence. It was awful, one child was lost to the violence, and one to the prison system. After that, I have not been interested in participating. Sigh.

The cameraman told me to follow him up on the stage for the first song as he took an audience shot, then we jumped back down into the pit. He told me to sit on the back of the barricade until the last song where we'll jump back up. I got to watch the show 10 feet in front of Carlos & Chester Thompson. Melted my face and I got paid. Good times. Samba Pa Ti was awesome!

Two days. It was an interesting exercise and it really is a fulfilling sort of duty. It helps if it's not a big days- or weeks-long case. If I was retired, well, can never have too many hobbies.... There was an item on the questionnaire that wasn't true twenty years ago but would probably get me struck from a lot of cases these days.

The impression is selection is for the one pending trial at hand. I’ve served a few times. I once served on a jury in Brooklyn for gang violence. It was awful, one child was lost to the violence, and one to the prison system. After that, I have not been interested in participating. Sigh.
