Daybreak is Done Shoving!:
———-
Butterman,
My daughter’s birthday was back on June 1, but my lovely sister-in-law was/is dealing with treatable cancer so we have pushed the family celebration off until today to make sure that everybody is healthy and nobody is gonna get her additionally sick.
We also wanted to do it while her fragile immune system was at the highest level it can get to.
The birthday girl went out for a hotel party sleepover last night with one of her friends.(!)
The rest of us just hung out around the house having fantastic conversation, eating a great local dinner, having some cocktails.
So far it is a success all around!

Plant / Krauss show in Atlanta last week that was called because of rain. I reminded her of the Led Zep show I didn’t get to see in Tampa in 77. A tropical storm and a bad rain. Party over. Real real bad riot. Injuries on both sides. The levee and some noses got broke. At a recent Stones show in Tampa Mick related a story of a hurricane canceled show in 60(something?)That sent he and Keith to a Clearwater ( anybody been there ? ) hotel where they wrote satisfaction. Weather will never stop rock and roll. Keep it coming mr P. We’ll keep it locked down down in st Pete. 🧜🏽♀️🐊📻💋

- The Civil War, wrote the southern poet and essayist Robert Penn Warren in 1961, is the country’s “felt history,” the past “lived in the national imagination.” It draws Americans, he said, “as an oracle, darkly unriddled and portentous, of national as well as personal fate.” Americans still contemplate its enduring influence in classrooms, in jurisprudence, in scholarship, lN Sound Alikes, in elections, on W&B and in the public square.

Works so well every time.
If I have a horrible pop song stuck in my head or any song from any era stuck in my head I put this on and it fully replaces it and I never ever mind.

People act like he saying oh if her daddy‘s poor you can just use her body any which way you want.
If you look at the lyrics, all it saying is that oh if the family doesn’t have a lot of money, then you don’t have to pretend to have a lot of money you can do something way more casual like go for a drive.
Although it’s probably not a good idea to have a drink and then have a drive…
