A WPRB dj recently played two songs in a row titled βOpen Your Eyesβ. Different songs; but one was by the 60βs band of βBe a Cavemanβ fame, and the other was by the San Fran punk band of the 70βs!

This is a movie Iβm planning on watching in shifts.
Since then Iβve taken a massage pad I got two years ago from my birthday,
I draped it over the nursing glider we got for my daughter before she was born 12 years ago this Wednesday.
Iβve taken the past and transformed it in the present into a gliding massage chair with foot rest.
Iβm thinking about having a beer. That sounds like a great idea. Then maybe a walk.
Cheers! π»

If you are still out there, it went well!
It was a lot but mainly just the volume of 9 nice people trying to have 3-5 different conversations at the same time.
They watched the Sandlot, played a civilized game of truth or dare, all slept in sleeping bags in the living room.
Nice day!
Thatβs why Iβm recovering!

Once the school day starts there is only one unlocked door.
However nothing would stop someone from driving up the driveway and pointing an AK-47 with armor piercing rounds at the front of my school strafing it.
There are full windows on full hallways of ground level classrooms that run forfour long blocks in a row.
Unless you deal with the guns and the ammunition that are war grade weaponry you are saying that no one can be guaranteed safe in their school, in their town, in any business, in any church, in any grocery store, in any space.

Daybreaks Thinking Thoughts π:
There are no easy solutions, but you start with the most difficult, impractical decision and then you work backwards from there.
For instance at my public school the police could take three hours on Monday morning to search every human being that goes up the driveway, our persons, our bags, our cars.
Once thatβs done we go up the hill to the school and we stay there. We would have to build dormitories. But we would sleep at the school.
None of us would leave until Friday afternoon.
They could also have people at the bottom of the driveway searching any vehicle that wants to come up the driveway.
That of course is a completely untenable solution.
But you donβt give up here, you work backwards from this point until you find the compromise between safety and convenience and The students, the teachers, the custodians, the administrators, the food prep peopleβs peace of mind.
You will get to an acceptable Solution eventually.
Once you do that and then also remove military grade weapons, automatic weapons, raise the age for purchasing a weapon until at least 21.
Then if you really want poetic justice you could pass a individualized bounty hunter law, like the Texas abortion law, which rewards anyone financially who is able to prevent someone from using a weapon who shouldnβt have a weapon. And or reveal that someone who is unstable in someway has a weapon. That person would then be tried and both owe the government and the person who caught them money.

"Lock all back doors, have only one door into and out of the school.guarded by armed police."
Brilliant simple idea, instead of gun control door control, like a jail. Problem is any local fire department would find it absurd and a ridiculous idea as well as any rational thinking person!!

I guess I'd look first at Times in Hoboken and Vintage Vinyl on Rt. 1 in Fords.... ACK! Vintage Vinyl CLOSED!!! I did not authorize that.
OK, then you'll have to go to Record Archive or House of Guitars in Rochester. It's worth the drive. They have literally everything there. Truly.
