The Full ☾Moon in ♏︎Scorpio during the time of the ⦿Sun in ♉︎Taurus annually is Wesak - the Buddhist commemoration of the Birth & Enlightenment of the Awakened One - this being the polarity of the signs of physical Form (♉︎Taurus) & deepest Meaning (♏︎Scorpio). & of course tonight is also an Eclipse - the entire duration visible in all of South America & the eastern half of North America... In Astrology, Eclipses are considered to correlate to longterm effects & situations - being the coming together of the Cycles of the ⊕Earth ⦿Sun & ☾Moon. Eclipses fall into what are called the Saros series that repeat every 18 years over many Centuries... The mythology in several cultures all over the world is that the ⦿Sun or ☾Moon are consumed by a great beast - a Wolf perhaps or more notably, a Dragon.
