	🍒 6:47pm Candy-O'67: Terre, there were so many good ones, hard to pick! I only caught a few songs of Elvis at the end of his show because all 3 headliners hat day, I wanted to see a little of each. They all played an hour and a half and stages were all in opposite directions. Black Crows were playing at the same time. So, started there and then went to see Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes cause I've never seen them. They were in the Blues Tent. Then ended that day with Elvis. On Thurs., Ziggy Marley headlined the Congo Stage and did all his dad's songs! It was magical and we got pretty close for that one! Mavis Staples - they got her at the last minute because Melissa Etheridge cancelled due to being sick. I'm so glad they got Mavis! She was amazing!!! First time I got to see Irma Thomas, too! I love her so much! There is a newer gal that I just found out about from my friend that went with me and she was on the main stage on Friday - Samantha Fish. Incredible guitarist and super cool chick, you can tell, too! Buddy Guy - killed it at 85 years old or something like that! Amazing that he's still so good and doesn't even seem his age at all! The Radiators were amazing - great musicians. The Nevilles (Cyril and Ivan) did a tribute to Dr. John and they are always fantastic! New Birth Brass Band - so, so good and powerful!!! A lot of cool 2nd line bands on stage and just doing little parades all weekend! It was a 4-day pass we had! Everything was magical, I tell ya! I can't wait for next year! We did a few things at night, too. Saw Samatha Fish do a set at Tipatina's with Dumpstafunk, which Ivan Neville and his son are in. Sooo good! I also spotted Chris Robinson (Black Crows singer for anyone who doesn't know) right outside the side door of Tipatina's. We were right up front. Then he and his entourage ducked and went right past us in front of the stage to the backstage area as they came in. We were hoping he'd come out and do a set, too, but he was never seen again! ha!

	🍒 6:54pm Candy-O'67: Barely, TT! Total marathon! SO MUCH FUN!!!!!!! We met so many cool people, too, in the fest and outside of the fest. Ran into a couple of brass bands on the street right outside fest and down on Frenchman Street the first night we were there on Thurs. Met people eating crawfish on their lawn near where we parked and bought a plate and sat down and talked to them for like an hour after Saturday's all-day affair. Crawfish was incredible and those people were so nice and said they do that every year, invited us back next year. New friends!

Turns out the owner is from Austin and she had signs all over the shop that I pointed out and immediately knew they were from TX. She even had issues of Texas Monthly on the side bar counter. We ate there twice (two nights in a row) after the fest cause it was so easy and such tasty tacos and queso!! It was the white kind and healthy and gluten free chips

	🍒 6:47pm Candy-O'67: Terre, there were so many good ones, hard to pick! I only caught a few songs of Elvis at the end of his show because all 3 headliners hat day, I wanted to see a little of each. They all played an hour and a half and stages were all in opposite directions. Black Crows were playing at the same time. So, started there and then went to see Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes cause I've never seen them. They were in the Blues Tent. Then ended that day with Elvis. On Thurs., Ziggy Marley headlined the Congo Stage and did all his dad's songs! It was magical and we got pretty close for that one! Mavis Staples - they got her at the last minute because Melissa Etheridge cancelled due to being sick. I'm so glad they got Mavis! She was amazing!!! First time I got to see Irma Thomas, too! I love her so much! There is a newer gal that I just found out about from my friend that went with me and she was on the main stage on Friday - Samantha Fish. Incredible guitarist and super cool chick, you can tell, too! Buddy Guy - killed it at 85 years old or something like that! Amazing that he's still so good and doesn't even seem his age at all! The Radiators were amazing - great musicians. The Nevilles (Cyril and Ivan) did a tribute to Dr. John and they are always fantastic! New Birth Brass Band - so, so good and powerful!!! A lot of cool 2nd line bands on stage and just doing little parades all weekend! It was a 4-day pass we had! Everything was magical, I tell ya! I can't wait for next year! We did a few things at night, too. Saw Samatha Fish do a set at Tipatina's with Dumpstafunk, which Ivan Neville and his son are in. Sooo good! I also spotted Chris Robinson (Black Crows singer for anyone who doesn't know) right outside the side door of Tipatina's. We were right up front. Then he and his entourage ducked and went right past us in front of the stage to the backstage area as they came in. We were hoping he'd come out and do a set, too, but he was never seen again! ha!

	🍒 6:54pm Candy-O'67: Barely, TT! Total marathon! SO MUCH FUN!!!!!!! We met so many cool people, too, in the fest and outside of the fest. Ran into a couple of brass bands on the street right outside fest and down on Frenchman Street the first night we were there on Thurs. Met people eating crawfish on their lawn near where we parked and bought a plate and sat down and talked to them for like an hour after Saturday's all-day affair. Crawfish was incredible and those people were so nice and said they do that every year, invited us back next year. New friends!

Turns out the owner is from Austin and she had signs all over the shop that I pointed out and immediately knew they were from TX. She even had issues of Texas Monthly on the side bar counter. We ate there twice (two nights in a row) after the fest cause it was so easy and such tasty tacos and queso!! It was the white kind and healthy and gluten free chips
