I think the best way to ice that beast is to remove the cake from the pan, pour the icing into the bunt pan, return the cake until absorbed.

At some point I might have to try to tame it a little, but for now I'm willing to propitiate and let its power wax. We also tried planting some flower seeds for the first time. No idea if that will work. We are ... bad at things.

	12:40pm McGroovey: Syracuse had a good scene, also, but it was different from different. Syracuse music was/is more roots-oriented: blues-rock, countryish, jazz. There's a great Syracuse roots-rock band whose name slips my mind, similar to Los Lobos, I suppose. In the seventies and early eighties, Syracuse had a good pop-rock thing going, of which the last band standing is The Flashcubes/Screen Test. But Rochester has always had lots of great garage rock, and also lots of weird noisy "experimental" music of the sort that certain noise-loving WFMU people love

There's a great Syracuse roots-rock band whose name slips my mind, similar to Los Lobos, I suppose. In the seventies and early eighties, Syracuse had a good pop-rock thing going, of which the last band standing is The Flashcubes/Screen Test. But Rochester has always had lots of great garage rock, and also lots of weird noisy "experimental" music of the sort that certain noise-loving WFMU people love
