tell me: is there really a heaven and a hell?"
"Who are you?" asked Hakuin.
"I am a soldier of the great Emperor's personal guard."
"Nonsense!" said Hakuin. "What kind of emperor would have you
around him? To me you look like a beggar!" At this, the soldier
started to rattle his big sword in anger. "Oho!" said Hakuin. "So
you have a sword! I'll wager it's much too dull to cut my head
off!"
At this the soldier could not hold himself back. He drew his sword
and threatened the master, who said: "Now you know half the
answer! You are opening the gates of hell!"
The soldier drew back, sheathed his sword, and bowed. "Now you
know the other half," said the master. "You have opencd the gates of heaven."

THE MASTER Ryokan lived in a poor little hut on a mountainside.
One moonlight night he came home and found a burglar looking for something to steal. But Ryokan was a hermit who owned nothing.
"Poor fellow," he said to the robber. "You have come a long way and have found nothing. But I don't want you to leave me empty-handed. Please take my clothes." And Ryokan stripped, and handed the clothes to the robber.
"Poor fellow," said naked Ryokan, going outdoors again when the inconsiderate robber had left, "How I wish I could have given him this wonderful moon."

sold powder coke in Bay Ridge bars in the 70s filled with CK/JT, Cat Stevens, James Brown, Dylan, Van Morrison cover soloists - sort of put me off them for ever ... Was horrified on a first trip to Paris only to hear the same covers all over the Metro... (UUUURRRRGGGHHH) ... Might give a try in a different setting with a different crew ..

It's powered by an 8.0 liter, 16-cylinder quad-turbo engine, 1,479 hp with 1,180lb-ft of torque, and boasts a carbon-fiber body with six exhaust pipes at the rear. "La Voiture Noire" is a beast, basically and its design is extremely slick — it looks hyper-futuristic while still retaining the classic design quality you'd expect from Bugatti.
