	9:09pm Obadiah Baird: I somehow have become a collector of old beat up vintage Kay guitars. This is all performed on a Kay Jumbo from the late 50's or early 60's.

	9:14pm Obadiah Baird: Yeah, most of it was written late 2019 and early 2020. I've had a hard time writing music since then for some reason.
	👻 9:14pm Austin Rich: This set of songs has become essential "pandemic listening" for me. I've listened to them over and over and I really don't tire of them.
	👻 9:15pm Austin Rich: We were actively drinking from the bottle visible in the photo. Hope no one minds.

	👻 9:18pm Austin Rich: There was about 10 minutes where I was convinced this entire recording did not come out, and that it was just dogs barking and cars driving past for the entire time. I was relieved to listen back, and find out that it came out great! It helped that the performance was so good.
	9:19pm HyperDose: I hear you with the creative block, Obadiah. Considering when the material was written and what was going on, it's totally understandable needing a break to recharge and get inspired again.

	9:20pm Kat: Austin, I'm probably the only person who's heard these more than you, and I don't tire of them either. Obadiah captured something so essential about 2020, even though many of them were started earlier.

	👻 10:50pm Austin Rich: Ironically, Dead Moon would fill stadiums when they toured Europe, and then we could go and see them for about $10 at a local bar and buy them drinks afterwards. I saw them five times, and they blew me away every time.

	10:51pm sufferwords: saw his last show and ten or so others - when GI came out (best ‘lpunk’ record of all time) we were shocked that they had actually been playing songs at the gigs

Heavily influenced by Dr Demento, Don Joyce and old fashioned College Radio, Austin creates Audio Essays on a variety of subjects, and even just plays records, from time to time. Sometimes Live music and Interviews will grace the program, helping create a situation where you don't really know what you're going to hear, when you tune in. What you need to know is when you enter the Mid-Valley region, be prepared for the Musical Mutations... in whatever form they take.

	9:07pm Ellen Lovebug: Thanks, I'm excited to be here. True story: Nearly every day, I do crossword puzzles over the phone with my mom, who's back East. Today, one of the crossword puzzle clues was "Type of lamp popular in the 1960s." Naturally, the answer was Lava, and of course, I thought of you!

	9:09pm Obadiah Baird: I somehow have become a collector of old beat up vintage Kay guitars. This is all performed on a Kay Jumbo from the late 50's or early 60's.

	👻 9:10pm Austin Rich: As you can see, I used a regular vocal mic and a zoom recorder to capture all of this. Motorcycles and reved up hondas, included.
	👻 9:13pm Austin Rich: If I remember correctly, you started working on this set of songs at the end of 2019?
	9:13pm Ellen Lovebug: I'm finding this really relaxing.
	9:14pm Obadiah Baird: Yeah, most of it was written late 2019 and early 2020. I've had a hard time writing music since then for some reason.
	👻 9:14pm Austin Rich: This set of songs has become essential "pandemic listening" for me. I've listened to them over and over and I really don't tire of them.
	👻 9:15pm Austin Rich: We were actively drinking from the bottle visible in the photo. Hope no one minds.

	👻 9:18pm Austin Rich: There was about 10 minutes where I was convinced this entire recording did not come out, and that it was just dogs barking and cars driving past for the entire time. I was relieved to listen back, and find out that it came out great! It helped that the performance was so good.
	9:19pm HyperDose: I hear you with the creative block, Obadiah. Considering when the material was written and what was going on, it's totally understandable needing a break to recharge and get inspired again.

	9:20pm Kat: Austin, I'm probably the only person who's heard these more than you, and I don't tire of them either. Obadiah captured something so essential about 2020, even though many of them were started earlier.
