And Mercury Rev sounded like Mercury Rev over and over, but only for an hour. I love Mercury Rev's first album, but I've really never heard anything else by them. But I'm guessing the other albums sound like the first one. They also did a cover of a Flaming Lips song, which sounded like a Mercury Rev song. Or (truth be told) Mercury Rev sounds more than a little like the Flaming Lips.

Same is true for BJM, for those who left early.
Don't get me wrong: I enjoyed the show, but neither band has much variety in their material. I'd get bored playing in either band.
Handy Haversack:
K8's on a Zoom call in the other room, and someone else on the call has a voice remarkably like Scott's, and it's freaking me out!

Had to chime in after you decided to segue the Sophia Kennedy track with it's obvious soundalike. Thanx for bringing a little 80's excitement into the mix!
