Re: Gang of Four. It was fantastic! So good. The band had so much energy and good spirit. It was great to hear songs I know backward and forward played live. I think the singer John King went to the same front man school as Bob Pollard (except John didn't down 30 beers during their set).

Frederick Forsyth's The Day of the Jackal about an attempt to assassinate Charles De Gaulle is really great. The 70s film with Edward Fox as the title character is a great slow build thriller.
