clarke, they're getting big! Seven months old this week. They're still pretty fantastic. They have both been in love with the dog lately, who is being a very good sport about it. They're also totally crazy. Possibly the perfect organism.

Joe makes a good point about some '60s records.
Most folks don't prefer "mono" as a format, it's just that so many records in the '60s were mixed with much more care and attention in mono because that was the prime format. The stereo mixes are often rushed and less punchy because of the limitation of mixing four-track recordings to stereo. I think most of us prefer some specific mono mixes, but still prefer the stereo format over mono

You should check out Kwederology, a fairly comprehensive overview. There's quite a bit of insane chaff on there, but some great nuggets. My favorite, Which Vaughn did produce is Heroine. (Not the VU song but something entirely more surreal and absurd.)
