I had the good fortune to meet one of his former lady friends, Patty Kotero, aka Apollonia, on several occasions. Her best friend's family owned a Mexican restaurant I used to frequent back in the 70s and 80s in San Pedro, California, the LA suburb that produced D Boon, Mike Watt and the fabulous Minutemen. Ms. Kotero was a most charming young lady, but wouldn't discuss her relationship with Prince as it was already "in the past" when I met her.

Marilyn Monroe had recorded it, but this cover was a big radio hit. April and her younger brother, Nino Tempo, also collaborated on a remake of the classic tune, "Deep Purple, " that charted as well. MICHELE, I am guessing that you named your band after Stevens's song because of its sexually suggestive lyrics. It was banned on many stations nationally. You go, girl!! By the way, April Stevens is still kicking at age 92 and brother Nino is 87.

I was on PPI's, (omeprazole), for years, for acid reflux issues, prior to them finding a duodenal ulcer via an endoscopy. Also as someone who had a heart attack (2017), it's not wise to ignore that type of discomfort as sometimes one mimics or covers the other. I hope all goes well for you.

I was on PPI's, (omeprazole), for years, for acid reflux issues, prior to them finding a duodenal ulcer via an endoscopy. Also as someone who had a heart attack (2017), it's not wise to ignore that type of discomfort as sometimes one mimics or covers the other. I hope all goes well for you.
