And you're totally right. How amazing is it that Key Wilde has done more than a year's worth of brand-new songs for DDR? Where else are you going to find something like that!

For all of you “swag for lifers” who pledge individual donations on top of your swag.
For instance, if you pledge extra $20s trying to win prizes, that can eventually bump you up to a next swag level.
You just need to keep track and then email Joe McGasko.

I bumped up a level yesterday trying to win a 4th LP, (This time from Sheila B and much like the other shows where I tried to win LPs
I lost), but the station won, and I bumped up a level so I won again!
There is no pledging marathon in the world like this one!!!

Expand the circle wider and wider until the circle not only encompasses the station, but the world, the musicians, the labels, life the universe and everything!

(*not counting the community station I volunteer at in Ithaca, just out of my radio's range for now)

I pledge "against" my S4L amount until I reach its limit. I keep track also in case my flightiness causes any confusion for Gentleman Joe McGasko. I always select "No swag" and "Send me a bill."
Then when I exceed my S4L amount, I keep doing the same thing! And I keep track of it all (as does Joe) so that when I get my receipt at the end of Marathon, I pick swag based on the total amount (and I settle up whatever I've exceeded the S4L amount by).
I do my best to avoid causing headaches for Joe. That's one of my main Marathon goals! I'm sure I screw it up every year.
And I try to keep in mind that there are dedicated and loyal listeners who can't afford to pledge, so if I can give a little extra for them, it all goes to the right place.
