Ridgewood Radio features concert recordings by adventurous bands and experimental musicians and restored archival tapes from private and institutional collections captured at venues large and small across the five boroughs of New York. It is produced by David Weinstein and Outpost Artists Resources operating out of the Ridgewood section of Queens, NY, where you'll find more yellow bricks than on the road to Oz and the cemetery of your choice is never more than a few blocks from home.

...sorry you have problems with external storage. i now have 3 seagate expansions drives (500gb, 2tb & 5tb) i've never lost any files with them, though the one i just got doesn't save my view settings when i unplug it, which seriously sucks -as i have put a lot of time into making every artist and album folder look nice...because i'm a dork...

I'd like to digitize my vinyl one day as well (wishful thinking), have an old A-D converter (portable), but each album can take hours to do, ripping, splitting into tracks and tagging. I've had the gear for years-think I've digitized 2 or 3 LP's.

i suppose ultimately i'll be backing up all my cds too (4-500?)
i convert most of what's larger than flac to flac. a lot less space used than wav.
