The all the way back seat was a coveted position because it actually faced backwards so if you sat there you could see all the people driving behind you. And as we got older mess with them a little bit. Great memories w/my brother!

Another way to reorder your 'charitable giving' is to not round up or give a $1 to spurious charities at chain convenience stores who should give from THEIR profits and not squeeze the customers / employees. With Metrocard I think you are paying full price... but that's only $0.25-ish more, maybe. Also the SmartLink is a contactless "tap" card, so fewer errors.
