	🍝 4:57pm Niall: Ah, I got dragged away, but I got back in time for Tezeta! I'm pretty sure it's impossible to do a bad version of this song.
	🍝 5:02pm Niall: I don't make cocktails anymore, but I want to play: Invite friends over for dinner. A few days ahead, buy a golden beet and pickle it in boiling water, vinegar, salt, sugar and maybe add a mild pepper, perhaps some thyme. Let the beets pickle for a day or two. The day before the dinner, take most of the pickle-liquor (snerk), add a good deal more sugar and water if necessary (it will be strong), as well as fresh lemon juice. Freeze, shaking every hour or so to ensure that you get a nice, slushy consistency. Congratulations: you have made a granita fit for dessert or a palate-cleanser, blowing your guests' minds.

	5:30pm tim from washington: I've come to the realization that I'm like an old-timer with an antenna TV that only watches one station. Never changes the dial no matter what's on. For me it's WFMU. I don't listen to any other stations, podcasts, streaming services, ham radio transmissions, crystal radio sets, no nothing except for WFMU.
	5:31pm Taavi: First on First is long gone, though the space is still there, having changed hands a few times, I'm sure. This was, I dunno--1986 maybe. Was interesting trying to get something going there. We had some very successful nights, write-ups in the papers. But it seemed like the owners didn't want to attract too much attention. Finally figured out is was likely a wise-guy joint.

	🍝 5:02pm Niall: I don't make cocktails anymore, but I want to play: Invite friends over for dinner. A few days ahead, buy a golden beet and pickle it in boiling water, vinegar, salt, sugar and maybe add a mild pepper, perhaps some thyme. Let the beets pickle for a day or two. The day before the dinner, take most of the pickle-liquor (snerk), add a good deal more sugar and water if necessary (it will be strong), as well as fresh lemon juice. Freeze, shaking every hour or so to ensure that you get a nice, slushy consistency. Congratulations: you have made a granita fit for dessert or a palate-cleanser, blowing your guests' minds.

I don't listen to any other stations, podcasts, streaming services, ham radio transmissions, crystal radio sets, no nothing except for WFMU.
