Our dog was drooling like crazy the whole time we are gone. We recently got a “lick it”pad, which helped with separation anxiety. Flat, textured circle with suction cups on the back (to keep it in place) you smear peanut butter into the crevices. The dog goes lick crazy so is distracted as you leave, and has something they like to work at while you are gone.
