I should mention that I saw Matrix Resurrection on Dec. 30th. The beginning pretty much threatened to dash my expectations and have me running for the exit immediately. But I decided to stick it out and keep watching. Overall, I can say it wasn't a total disappontment, considering the start of it. But I have to agree with the opinions of other members of the WFMU community who have seen it that WB just wasn't interested about keeping the franchise going for the die-hard fans and instead chose to use it as a vehicle to promote their other properties.
