He was a Compton("Straight Outta") resident at that time and a nicer guy you could not have met. Very modest about his achievements.

At least in San Pedro(home of the Minutemen, by the way!).

	8:32am RB: KrysO, great , I just read about it it and will listen, too. she is joined by another singer during the interview. That set of CBC shows (there were ~12 in one year ) , were one of the highlights of Gould’s TV career. There is a story that Gould was driving his Lincoln Continental west , along Lake Ontario , heard Petula Clark on AM radio. And pulled over and called her from the lake side hotel he liked to stay at. He was mildly infatuated with her .

That set of CBC shows (there were ~12 in one year ) , were one of the highlights of Gould’s TV career. There is a story that Gould was driving his Lincoln Continental west , along Lake Ontario , heard Petula Clark on AM radio. And pulled over and called her from the lake side hotel he liked to stay at. He was mildly infatuated with her .
