	12:33pm G: I thought I read somewhere that Elton J wanted Dusty Springfield for that "Don't Go Breakin My Heart" song, but she was unavailable, so Kiki Dee was the backup choice. And anything EJ touched in the early and mid 70s turned to gold, including Kiki Dee. I saw her open for EJ in my high school gym at the American School in London, in maybe early 1974.
