UH YES!
Heya "?"
do u realize that virtually EVERY new 'popular' music genre was innovated by very specifically
African- Americans ?
From "slave" field holler folk, gospel, jazz, blues . . . and then especially rhythm & blues which became yr beloved rock n roll . . .then soul, funk , disco, hip-hop etc etc?
And unsurprisingly the white peepos
at the time always had a "problem" with said new musical art form . . . until they "got IT" ---many years later when the musical zeitgeist was on to the next thing . . .
so maybe you'll "get" hip-hop in another what 10-20 years?πΈπ

(Stolen and paraphrased from my college roommate. He told his little 5-year-old brother that the Dead Kennedys song was called "Nazi Punks, Get Outa Heah!"

Great show. It kept me sane during my four tips to the dreaded big box home improvement stores today.
