	12:38pm poptone: here's a review on shell & the crush on amazon: Shell was a talented singer and got to show off her popster skills on one episode of General Hospital where Nurse Amy Vinning wants to play in Blackie Parrish's ( John Stamos ) band. She sings Cary's Got A Heartache. Her musical career went nowhere but she did develop a successful line of clothing. She died of renal failure in 2008.

	12:39pm poptone: and another review here: The late Shell Kepler was mainly known as an actress. Shell played Nurse Amy Vining on "General Hospital" from 1979-2002. Shell also had a successful clothing line. Shell & The Crush did just this one Lp (or Ep as it only had 5 tracks). The album is new wave-ish ala Blondie. Popular Girl is the best track. All The songs are fun. Not going to give a review of the whole album. If you can track a copy down, check it out!

	12:42pm BLCKDGRD: Frederick now much different than the Fredneck we knew growing up twenty miles south of, now blue, once reddest of red (though always had great record stores)
	12:42pm ChukAmok: @drr The Annapolis Record and Tape Exchange was on Bay Ridge Rd. Depending on when you were there, the shop in town was Oceans II on Main Street, which is also now closed. There were some other spots in/around Arnold and Severna Park where I found some great music, but they are also all gone now. The only place around there now is Kachunk! Records on Maryland Ave in downtown. Have found some decent records in the used bins there.

	12:38pm poptone: here's a review on shell & the crush on amazon: Shell was a talented singer and got to show off her popster skills on one episode of General Hospital where Nurse Amy Vinning wants to play in Blackie Parrish's ( John Stamos ) band. She sings Cary's Got A Heartache. Her musical career went nowhere but she did develop a successful line of clothing. She died of renal failure in 2008.

	12:39pm poptone: and another review here: The late Shell Kepler was mainly known as an actress. Shell played Nurse Amy Vining on "General Hospital" from 1979-2002. Shell also had a successful clothing line. Shell & The Crush did just this one Lp (or Ep as it only had 5 tracks). The album is new wave-ish ala Blondie. Popular Girl is the best track. All The songs are fun. Not going to give a review of the whole album. If you can track a copy down, check it out!

	12:42pm ChukAmok: @drr The Annapolis Record and Tape Exchange was on Bay Ridge Rd. Depending on when you were there, the shop in town was Oceans II on Main Street, which is also now closed. There were some other spots in/around Arnold and Severna Park where I found some great music, but they are also all gone now. The only place around there now is Kachunk! Records on Maryland Ave in downtown. Have found some decent records in the used bins there.
