I've seen Chuck Berry play at the Palace Theatre in Stamford, CT. I think he was a bit tipsy at the time of his performance. While he was playing a blues tune, you could see teardrops rolling down his cheeks!

Beverly Garland's 1958 TV show, Decoy, was filmed on location at the armory on 25th and Lexington. Several scenes from that show were copied by Herk Harvey for his 1962 movie, Carnival of Souls.
