Pre-paration. Commendable.

Lolabelle Pancake:

Hello, G — you are quite an early bird! Courtney is halfway thru a plushed-to-the-scuppers weekend and hasn't even begun putting together Tuesday's program. As a regular listener you know that Courtney's show prep consists of three yawns and a pack of Luckies.

Davee:

Where am I?
Avatar 1:26pm
Lolabelle Pancake:

I don't know, Davee. Have you discovered your whereabouts yet? When the Codger's listeners get lost, we send out an Amberol Alert.

G:

Back early again. But she who must obeyed made a dinner reservation for 6:30, leaving early...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:01pm
G:

Me and my time zones. Too much traveling. I mean, I'll be back after 7pm ET...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:02pm

Two hours? Wow, he'll be super plushed by the end.

Listener Robert:

The second column of the Gargle is headlined in Hebrew, isn't it?
Avatar 6:53pm
Lolabelle Pancake:

Yes, Robert. In Hebrew it says, "Grampy's Losing Rival Is Kinda Bughouse."
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:01pm
ultradamno:

Euneeda S. Bodenheim:

I hate it when he impugns the family name. Don't tar us all with the same brush!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:13pm
dale:

shades of the commercial with the second mr. french.
  7:13pm
Listener Robert:

If he hits the floor, is that a poetry slam?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:14pm
ultradamno:

That is indeed some purty talkin'
Avatar 7:17pm
Lolabelle Pancake:

Euneeda, as Gus and Courtney explain it, everyone in the Bodenheim family gets tarred with their own brush.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:18pm
PigeonsAndRust:

I think most of the folks on here will appreciate that I accidentally and quite literally tarred and feathered myself today. Alao, I pulled a copy of 'Doin' Things' out of the bottom of chicken coop in Greene County last year-- black label Okeh electric
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:19pm
rrg:

That second Mr. French was John Williams, a great and prolific English actor. He was ill-used by that commercial. After he died they continued to use it and got someone to badly imitate his English accent to say that the records now cost $24.95 instead of $19.95.
Avatar 7:19pm
Euneeda S. Bodenheim:

I keep my brushes clean, thank you very much!
Avatar 7:20pm
Lolabelle Pancake:

All Bodenheim brushes are manufactured by J.G. Paine & Sons.

aloha, Courtney, Lolabelle, and everyone. this music sounds kind of fast.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:36pm
PigeonsAndRust:

Looks like she created at least three matrices of that song for Brunswick. I wonder, could it be the same famous English actress?
  7:37pm
Listener Robert:

Tom, who was Lionel Hampton there to see?
Avatar 7:39pm
Lolabelle Pancake:

At the bar mitzvah, Lionel announced that they were playing "Hamanagila."

In Rockland County, I think in Pearl River, there used to be a dentist named Dr. Mengele. He was Jewish too.
